I'm Sick of the Whining!!

Rant Worthy.............
Lots and lots of new fatbike owners these days.
Lots and LOTS of whiny cry babies on social media!!!
I know, stay off social media..... LOL
Wherever I look these days people are piss-whining about this, piss-whining about that!!!

I find it Funny; where were all these people 5/6 years ago??
Thinking FatBikes were a joke/fad/stupid?
We couldn't whine about anything!!!! We got what we could and were damn happy about it!!

When FatBikes were considered to be a joke, a flash in the pan....... A freak sideshow bike.
My how times change!!!!

People are pissing and moaning about how the carbon FatBikes are "IT" no need for any other FatBike, and if you don't sell your perfectly good steel/aluminum FatBike you're behind the times.
REALLY?? SERIOUSLY??
Be it about what FatBike one should own.
You need a carbon FatBike?
You need to deck it out with all the latest gear.... if you don't you're not a real FatBike rider....
Again.... SERIOUSLY??
No, NO I don't!!
I have what I have because it works.......
FOR ME!!!

I'm gonna stop right here.... No need to go any further.
I'll say this about this topic........
Ride what you want, because you love the ride, PERIOD!!
Enough said!!

Another thing that's been bugging me.... Hearing "It's to cold to ride."
Huh??!!??
This one has me shaking my head!! I get hearing it's to warm...... Then again..... NO I DONT get that either!!!

With all the new FatBike owners I get the different opinions, but holy hell...... Some of you people need to ride more and talk less!!!
Ride your FatBike for more than a year before you start spouting off at the mouth about this or that!!
Of all people I GET the excitement these bikes bring to a new owner, shit.... I still get excited to this day!!!!

All new FatBikes should come with a disclaimer "NO TALKING LIKE A JACKASS UNTIL YOU'VE OWNED YOUR FATBIKE FOR ONE CALANDER YEAR!!"

Rant over!!
Probably not, but it won't spill over here again for awhile!!
Ha Ha Ha

  1. Amen brother JOBOO.....I'm happily riding my 8th winter on my 2006 Purple Pugsley. It's still the funnest riding I do all year long. This winter has been so good (bad if you you listen to others) I've been commuting on the Pug everyday and hitting the snomo trails on the weekends. Temps in the minus 20 range don't stop me. After 10 years of winter commuting I know how to be comfortable in any weather. My local trails are deserted lately when the mercury drops below zero. Not sure where all those newbie fatbikers are? I haven't seen any?!?!
