Solo, and Feeling a Bit Lost

Yesterday after work, found me riding alone.........
The girls had a dance open house, and Z choosing a friends house; found me riding solo; which doesn't happen much anymore.
Quite frankly it felt kind of weird, and I missed my riding partners, and photo hogs!! Lol
17 miles later, here's what I shot, nothing spectacular. I did do some mine dump climbing.

Bored

A lazy Sunday late afternoon.
The kids were bored with riding around the neighborhood, so I set up a little challenge for them. Nothing a 2x6 and a few logs couldn't fix!! Lol
J wasn't too keen on this, but Z had a fun time testing his skills, which are coming along!! While Mom and Dad sat around the fire.
Pedal On!!
Peace

Zack's 1st Maple Hill Ride

Z and I headed out to the Maple Hill Park single-track this afternoon.
I thought he'd have enjoyed it more; but he confessed the ride up toasted him after last nights 15 miler.
Good thing prime riding season is soon to be upon us.
Anyway, here's some shots of some of the riding we did.

We spent a good two hours at Maple Hill without seeing any animals.
Then in the middle of town on our way home we saw this old girl just causally grazing away. Lol

West Side Ride

Z and I hooked with our riding buddy Rick P. after work today, and hit up some trails west of town.
Rick's going out of town 6-8 weeks for work; so this was our last pedal together for awhile.
We were THREE Fatty's strong and we rolled!!
Pedal On!!
Peace

I had to set Mom up before we left!! ;)

To the trail.........

Post ride refreshment!!!

Happy Camper

Today found us in Duluth school shopping.
BORING!! ;)
We halted school shopping early to go hit up Spirit Mountain's new DH trails.
What an awesome time!!
A much better way to spend ones hard earned dollars!!!
Ha Ha Ha
The "Happy Camper" trail was a hit with Z...... Everything was easily rollable for the first timer, and his father also!! ;)
After 3 hours Z was toast, perfect!!
Lol
The young lad learned some valuable bike handling skills rather quickly!! Very proud of you Zack!!
Watch out for your sister next year bud!! Lol
