Pedal 6 miles, at the local lake by 5:17; ride around till 6:45. The worst part of the day came at 7!! Work.. Ugh!! Lol

Getting Dirty

i mounted up my new Husker Du's Friday after work.

the first thing i noticed was these tires are noticably fatter on my LM rims than the Larry/Endo combo i had on!!!

Saturday morning i gave em a test ride.

it as rained a lot!!!

these tires have grip for days and are almost silent on pavement!!

that was the biggest surprise. my Larry/Endo combo really turned heads. people would hear me coming from damn near a block away!!! LOL

thank goes to Zack, Jenna and Cindi for getting me these tires!!!

The National Bike Challenge

A couple months back I was asked to join a team for this challenge. I didn't think too much about it, at the time. Sure, yeah, whatever; I thought. Well, a couple months in, and you know what? It's pretty damn cool! I haven't kept track of my riding miles in 10 plus years!! The last time I did, I was averaging 2,500 miles a year; with my high water mark around 3,500. Being single and no family made pedaling a lot easier!! Ha Ha Well, in a week, (probably less), I'll be breaking the 1,000 miles mark. That's pedaling day in and day out, without missing a day!! For the year 2012 I'm pushing towards the 2,000 mile mark. All miles are on my Trusty Pugsley!! Quite an accomplishment, if I do say so myself!! None of this would be possible if I didn't have a very very, did I say VERY understanding and supportive better half!!! Thank Cindi, I love you!! Also, thanks for asking me to join Mr. Holgate!! Here's a summary of our "team", 10 people from Minnesota's Iron Range. Peace

Z's New Ride!!!

Well, it's official..... our boy Zack will be getting his own spanking new FatBike!! 
He can thank his sister Jenna; and of course mom and dad!! Lol
In October, J will be going to see Justin what's his name at Target Center in Mpls. 
A deal was brokered between mom, Z and J. Dad just has to pay for it!!!??? Ha Ha
Upon purchase of said concert tickets, at a price that wont be spoken aloud again!!!! Ha
Z will be awarded a FatBike 1st; J will have to wait.
There is a certain blogger, (DR).... That has a wife, that has a XS 9:ZERO:7 frame. Lol
If said blogger (DR) reads this, can we hook up sometime in the near future, so our Z could putt-putt up and down your street for a test of size?? It would set Z's dad mind at ease about size and what not.
 We'll be down your way a couple times before August.
