A Perfect Afternoon
Sunday found us 3 heading out of the house by 10:00 a.m.
We spent the majority of our time just pooching around town with no real objective in mind.
We stopped at a couple parks, along with checking out our "secret" apple tree.
Then got a phone call from my parents and proceeded to stop by their house and spend the rest of our day hanging with grandma and grandpa, and two aunties from out of town, all and all a great lazy Sunday!!

Pill Hill Messing Around
For our children the dreaded school world starts in a few days.
So we decided it was a good time to pound some red dirt.
Lots of "do overs" were happening today; which in and of it's self was rewarding to this father!! To see these two wanting to "do it" until they "cleaned it" was pretty cool to watch; and by the pictures I took you can see (by their faces) they were totally determined to clean the things they struggled with.
Anyway, I'll let the pictures tell that story.
Pedal On!!
Peace

A Tuesday Afternoon
Come home from work..... Kids being ramrod's, Mom breathing deeply in corner, (not really, but she could've been).... Me.... "When I'm done with my shower, we're gone!!"
They put the hurt on their mother all day.... Yup.. You know I'm gonna hurt them just a little bit on this ride!! ;)
Ok, now the hurt just a little part!! ;)
We stopped and threw rocks 1st. Ha Ha
The hill isn't that long, but my point was made, and they knew it without a word being said!!
Don't mess with Mom!!! Sunday, August 3, 2014

Back to the Scene of the Crash
It was time; and Zack wanted to do it!!
So we had a little fun with it!! Lol
Our Zack is back!!!!! :)
The Longest Day of the Year..... Mess Around!
Zack-Attack is getting used to biking with his hard cast on..... Since his 1st ride, he's upped his miles each and every time!
Although, we have to stay on fairly smooth surfaces for the time being.
That too shall pass!! Lol
Pedal On!!!

Back In The Saddle!!!!
Z got his hard, much shorter cast on yesterday afternoon. It's going to take some getting used to, but I'm sure he'll be just fine!!
He only made it a little more than a mile, before J and I heard "my arm is getting sore." So we turned around and headed for home.
Step one!!!
Pedal On!!

I Never Realized
Just how much the kids and I pedal together.......
Yes, I know we pedal together more than the average pedal to the park family.
I'm not even saying how little I also ride with others....... Let's just say it's right around 98%, enough said!!
Although since this boy broke his wing.......
I never gave it much thought....
I'd get home from work, and we'd saddle up and go for a pedal. OR
I'd or Mom would hear "I'm bored" one to many times, and we'd saddle up and ride!
Since his arm was broken two days before school was let out for summer (!!!!!!!!!) not going for a pedal was just an afterthought!
Arm was broken while racing his sister when the curb from hell jumped in front of him!! Lol
Lesson....... Take curbs at the proper angle, and one does not always have to be in 1st place to have a fun time!!!
The bigger lesson..........................
PEDAL IN THE WOODS!!!
These past few weeks that lesson has been hammered home in a big way!!
A wrist to just below the elbow cast should be going on this coming Tuesday, and then it'll be back to this.......
Peace

They're Only Young Once!!!
There are certain advantages to being laid-off; and most of it has nothing to do with the lack of funds!!! Lol
I've been piling up the miles, bonus!!
Also, if working, I'd miss out on school functions like the one I attended at the local park here in town for our Jenna's class. Big BIG bonus!!!
