Pedal On "The Series" Update

As of this past Sunday there are now 19 geocaches in this series.
Mileage to date is well over 150, that's for me setting the caches, not total mileage to get said caches. Lol
The last six I placed starting with #14
Are in a very cool area!!
If you are looking for a challenging ride, you'll get it here, with lots and lots of high speed white knuckle downhills; and of course you'll have the pedal back up to really get the heart, lungs and legs working!!! ;)
The views in the area are some of the best around.
If you get these six in this area by bike or foot, you've accomplished a lot, and more than likely you've also have gained some valuable bike handling skills, or plenty of miles on your hiking boots!!
Until 4 of the 8 newest caches are found I'll be waiting to hide more.

Peace

Pedal On; A Marraige of Biking and Geocaching = Perfection

For those of you that don't know, I enjoying Geocaching, with or without the family. It's just another relaxing pass-time.
Since I haven't hunted in over 10 years, Geocaching gets me/us out in the woods, and that's always a good thing!!
I love caching with the family, mainly watching the kids go banannas when we make a find!! ;)
So accordingly pedaling a bike while Geocaching is a natural. I've started a new cache (cash) series called "pedal on." it's going to start in the old Whitney Tailings ponds, just north of Vic Power Park here in Hibbing. When it's all said and done, it should be right in the neighborhood of 25-30 miles. How many caches am I gonna put out? I do not know, but I'll space them out nicely after the 1st 4 or 5. I for one don't like getting on the bike, only to get back off in a .10th of a mile, so expect 1/2 to 3/4 of a miles between caches.
So this little project should get me out turning the pedals more, and making quite a few more hides!!

Peace
