I can now say, my want for a carbon fatty has passed, (for now;) and probably for the best anyway! Lol

I've already got the wheel-set in a box gathering dust behind the couch. Ha Ha

All that's needed are wider hubs, RaceFace Turbine double or 1x11?? 

Thinking simpler is better!! ;)

Now, what color??? 

I'm kind of liking this here burnt orange. 

As Big Brian pointed out, it'd be like an Iron Range camouflage. ;)

It should be noted I was thinking......

Carbon Frames: 

Borealis Yampa..... 9:zero:7 Whiteout.

I was also thinking Surly ICT, but that went by the wayside with Surly putting a press-fit BB on the ICT. 

For the places and things I rides through, a press-fit BB is asking for trouble! 

What about a FS Fatty you ask? 

IMHO a FS Fatty is not for winter riding PERIOD, at least not a Minnesota winter!! 

A Florida winter, sure, nothing colder than freezing (32F) though.

Why spend 5K plus and then blowup a Bluto and a rear shock??

We went the build option because we couldn't find an XS frame in the color she wanted at a LBS. GIRLS!! Lol

Our LBS can't become a 9:zero:7 dealer right now, because 9:zero:7 can't keep up with supply; and isn't accepting new dealers at this time.

It's like FatBikes are popular or something??!! Ha Ha

It Begins.......

One XS 170mm RED 9:zero:7 frame ordered!! Woot Woot

After searching for some time.... Freaking out a bit, thinking I'd have to wait till fall of 2014.... I finally found an XS frame waiting for our young Jenna at Chain Reaction in the great state of Alaska; thanks Seth!! 

It should arrive in a couple weeks, then a drive south to Penn Cycles Eagan will be in order to have a chat and pick out the build for our 3rd FatBike in our house!!! 

We have one seriously pumped up little girl!! Ha Ha

Mom is also exited, but not as much!! ;)

Anyway, a Red XS 9:zero:7 will be getting ordered up shortly!!! 

J's got a little stretch, but she should be good to go by Xmas; then by spring I'll be raising her seat a notch or two!!

Anyway, we were in the Twin Cities this past weekend to take in a Tragically Hip concert, and the GFBR which I missed...... That's another story!! I still love ya Cindi!! ;)~

Also Zack's new 9:zero:7 (picture below), was picked up and tucked away nicely in our basement.
When we picked the kids up Sunday night, Zack was like where's my bike guys?? I said they sold it, and they didn't know if they'd have another built in time for Xmas!! I love messing with the young ones!! Lol
He took the not so truthful news very well!! Very impressed bud!! I guess we're doing something right!!??!! Ha Ha
