The temp was above 40!!!
45 to be exact!! Lol
Still a good chill in the air, and a west wind with a bit of a bite; but it felt good to be pedaling minus layers!!
Zack was itching for a pedal, so off we went.

FatBiker Heaven

April 19th 2013 15.5" of snow fell on Hibbing, Mn. over night.
Our street was not plowed....... Not a problem...... Drop PSI and I was off.
The heaviness of the snowfall left a nice base and pedaling took some effort, but it was most enjoyable!!
School was cancelled, so traffic was light, and the plow boys were out in force.
I was good to go after getting off our unplowed street.
What plow rows I did come across the big boy tires crawled up and over with ease!!
After 6 plus years ride my Pugs day after day...... this rig still amazes me!!!
The best two wheeled purchase EVER!!!
Get out and play in the white stuff because it should be gone soon!!!???
Yesterday one could see dirt; today, ahh not so much!! Lol

Springtime in Northern Mn.

Well, old man winter isn't going away quietly!!
3" of snow fell over night, with 10+ being called for by tomorrow morning.

On my way into work, I watched a couple skinny tired bikers struggle through the wet heavy snow this morning.
i choose not to rub in my ease of pedaling through this fresh dropping of the white stuff, and took a different way into to work. Lol
Anyway, it is what it is, and warmth will be here before we know it!!
One has to love northern Mn. during spring!! Ha Ha

I've also put my tune up on hold.
Who wants to get a fresh tune up, and ride through the slop?? The slop will be gone soon enough, and then it's game on!! Lol

Spring Bling

Spring is supposedly here.
50+ the last couple days. Took Zack and his new FatBike, which now is not so new looking!! Lol
Jenna joined us yesterday, and then to wake up today to snow and almost minus wind-chill. Damn!!

Anyway, I've got my new Rip-cords on the way, and new Hope bling jockey wheels!
So in a couple weeks I'll drop the trusty steed for his annual tune up, and then proceed to pound the crap out of it all over again!! ;)
